All About Online.cars

By now, you might be thinking this is too good to be true, but we assure you that it’s not. This is the breakthrough that the automotive industry has needed for over a decade. A stress-free, 100% contactless transaction for purchasing your next vehicle is the way to go. So, let’s get into how our dealership works.

First of all, we are backed by the number one dealership in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky - McCluskey Chevrolet, Inc. Although our website was launched in the middle of 2018, McCluskey Chevy has been around for over 90 years. Just a decade short of a century, we are teamed up with a trusted and reputable institution.

We do operate in offices. Our headquarters are situated just north of Cincinnati in the beautiful town of Loveland, OH. Our office houses our management and administrative teams along with our Vehicle Solutions Specialists and the folks in our Guest Relations Center. We also have a full-service center that is dedicated to reconditioning pre-owned vehicles.

Our office hours are from Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we are closed on Sundays. We operate on the same schedule for deliveries, except for Sundays. You can schedule delivery on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Shopping for Vehicles Online

The auto industry was in desperate need of an overhaul. That is why we decided to launch Online.cars in 2018. The majority of car shoppers already know what they want, or at least what they are looking to find. With our handy website, you can browse our current inventory to find the perfect car for you. If you don’t find what you had in mind, you can take things a step further.

Online.cars offers a Nationwide Search feature that allows you to look for the specific vehicle you want. At any given time, there are over 200,000 vehicles for sale across the United States. Our patented search software will filter through all of these available models to find the right fit for you at the right price. You don’t have to worry about getting stuck with a lousy vehicle either because our system removes any vehicles that are listed with fire, flood, hail, lemon, salvage, junk, or rebuilt. We only consider vehicles in good condition.

Car Shopping Online vs the Dealership

While some may argue that you need to go to the dealership to test drive the vehicle before you buy it, that simply is not the case anymore. When you purchase a vehicle from Online.cars, you can test it out for three days or 300 miles. If you don’t love it, you can return it for free. We will come to pick it up completely free of charge. So, there is absolutely no risk when buying a vehicle online.

With a traditional dealership, you have to drive there and hope that someone is available to assist you. If not, you are left waiting until a salesperson can make their way to you. Then, you have to walk all over the dealer’s lot to look through their current inventory. Maybe you will find what you are looking for and maybe not. More likely than not, you will not find precisely what you had in mind. Whether it is missing that sunroof you wanted or it’s the wrong color, there is almost always something that is off. Buying a vehicle is a significant purchase, and you shouldn’t have to settle for anything less than perfect.

To combat the bad experiences sometimes associated with car dealerships, Online.cars takes the process online. You don’t have to leave your home or office, and you do not have to deal with salespeople. All you have to do is make a simple phone call. Your online car-buying journey with us will begin with your personal Vehicle Solution Specialist. They will be with you every step of the way, whether your car buying, financing, or leasing. They are happy to answer your questions and assist you with applying for financing plans. They can also find the exact vehicle you want and schedule it for delivery at your convenience.

Warranties and Guarantees

White pickup trucks are up on lifts at a mechanic garage.

We understand that peace of mind is of the utmost importance. That is why our vehicles are covered by the same warranty and guarantee as any of the McCluskey Chevy vehicles. We also provide a fully-insured Lifetime Mechanical Warranty for free. The only requirement is that you get your routine oil change every 6,000 miles. If you have additional questions about warranties and protections, you can speak with one of our representatives on our Finance and Insurance Team.

Getting Your Vehicle

So, you found the car of your dreams, and you are ready to ride. That’s great! The only step that’s left is to set up the delivery time. A Logistics Manager will speak with you about this, but the average time until delivery is 24 to 48 hours. This, of course, depends on your location.

If the vehicle you want is located within 150 miles, delivery is free. If it is outside the radius, then there will be a small delivery charge. Also, keep in mind that you can pick up your vehicle yourself if you want. We will even give you a $150 gift card to Montgomery Inn Rib House to celebrate your new vehicle.

And remember, if you don’t love your vehicle, you can return it free-of-charge within the first three days or 300 miles.

13th Generation Ford F-150

Making its debut in 2015, the 13th generation Ford F-150 is the result of decades of perfection. Still currently in production, this iconic generation has fused tradition with the future by incorporating Ford's reputation for reliability and strength with advanced technology. Let’s explore each year of this generation to gain a better understanding of what you will get when you purchase a model from this most recent production line. This will help you narrow down your search for used trucks for sale near Columbus, Ohio.

2015 F-150

To begin, let’s look at the first engine lineup for the 13th generation models. The standard is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that can get up to 283 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque. The first optional powertrain is a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 motor that generates 325 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque. Moving up, the next available engine is also turbocharged. This engine is also another 3.5-liter engine, but it is a twin-turbocharger V6. This engine gets up to 365 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The final option is a massive 5.0-liter V8 that produces 385 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque. No matter which engine you choose, this particular lineup will come standard with a 6-speed automatic transmission and RWD. You may also opt for 4WD if you plan on taking the F-150 off-road.

Now, we can move on to the trim levels. It’s important to keep these details in mind when looking at the production years from the 13th generation because every model after 2015 builds off of these specs. The base trim is known as the XL, and it comes with vinyl flooring, cloth upholstery, air conditioning, and manual accessories. The entertainment system is displayed on a small 4.2-inch monitor that is standard for the production year.

Next, we have the XLT trim that comes with more convenient features such as power accessories, automatic headlights, and keyless entry. The infotainment interface has also been upgraded to the voice-controlled Sync system, and enhanced Bluetooth and smartphone integration have been added. Available on this trim is the FX4 Off-Road package, which adds a sunroof, larger wheels, extended side mirrors for towing, inflated seat belts, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring.

At the middle level, we have the popular Lariat model. This one adds more luxurious features such as remote engine start, LED bed lighting, dual-zone climate control, and heated/cooled leather seats. The back window has power-sliding capabilities, and the MyFord Touch infotainment interface gets a larger 8-inch touchscreen upgrade.

At the top of the lineup are the King Ranch and Platinum models. These two have all of the aforementioned features plus a little something extra. If you like the cowboy style of the southwest, the King Ranch is one for you. If you prefer more of a sleek urban look, the Platinum model is a great choice.

The 2016 F-150

From this point on, only a few changes were made each year. For example, the 2016 models did away with the MyFord Touch infotainment interface and replaced it with Sync3. Also, the Limited trim level made its debut featuring large 22-inch wheels and an advanced system for hitching a trailer. This system is called the Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

The 2017 F-150

For the production year of 2017, the standard 3.5-liter V6 motor was tweaked a bit. Equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission, this new design offered a smoother ride. This was also the year of the F-150 Raptor in the 13th generation. With the FX4 Off-Road package being so popular, Ford engineers decided to officially release a new model that provided a better off-roading experience. Rolling on 17-inch wheels with off-road tires, the Raptor features protective skid plates, fender flares, a raised suspension, and 4WD.

The 2018 F-150

If you are looking for the mid-cycle refresh, the 2018 lineup is where you will find it. Not only did Ford release the SuperDuty series with a redesigned grille, but the company also added new engine options. The 2.7-liter V6 was added, and it produced 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. It included Start/Stop technology for better fuel efficiency. Also added to the selection was a PowerStroke diesel motor option.

The 2019 F-150

Keeping the same lineup and trim level lineups, the 2019 version of the F-150 remain largely unchanged. However, there were a few changes to the standard safety features. All trim levels would now come with emergency braking and forward collision warning.

3rd Generation Chevy Silverado

If Ford isn’t your cup of tea, there are other types of used trucks for sale near Columbus, Ohio. On a comparable scale, the 3rd generation Chevy Silverado can hold its own against the F-150. Produced from 2014 until 2018, the first model from this generation was unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI in 2012. Let’s explore each production year to see the differences.

The 2014 Silverado

Kicking things off with the engine offerings, the standard motor on the 2014 Silverado is the 4.3-liter V6 engine that generates 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. Next is the 5.3-liter V8 motor that produces 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. The third and final option is a 6.2-liter V8 engine that pushes out 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission and RWD are standard with any of these powertrains, and 4WD is optional as well.

The base trim level is the Work Truck. The Work Truck has 2 sub-trims called 1WT and 2WT. The 1WT has vinyl upholstery, rubber floors, and a basic AM/FM s4-speaker stereo. The 2WT adds keyless entry, the MyLink infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, a CD player, and satellite radio.

Next is the LT model. This one adds cloth upholstery, carpeted floors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 6-speaker stereo. Stepping up to the LTZ added heated leather seats, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, remote start, and a rearview camera. Then, the High Country adds front and back parking sensors, a premium Bose stereo, and seats with heated/cooled settings.

If you want an off-roading model, the Z71 features shock absorbers, skid plates, recovery hooks, and other enhancements for better off-road adventures.

2015 Silverado

For 2015, the Silverado underwent several changes, including the addition of new trims. The Work Truck sub-trims were combined into one, and the LS model was added to the mix. The LS added a 4G LTE Wifi hotspot and voice-controlled capabilities. Also, the 6.2-liter V8 engine was mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

2016 - 2018 Silverado

In 2016, the truck got another facelift with upgraded features now, including a 7-inch touchscreen interface, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The optional Enhanced Driver Alert package includes lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, forward collision warning, and front/rear parking sensors.

The 2017 and 2018 Silverado models didn’t see any significant changes aside from a few special edition models that were released in limited numbers.
